Boy looses his parents in a car crash and goes to live with Grandma in Norway. Grandma has many stories to tell the Boy about her girlhood and most frightening of all about witches! Respecting the wishes of his parents she takes the Boy back to England for school. Unfortunately Grandma falls ill and a holiday by the sea is recommended. Little did they know who would be holding their annual meeting at "The Grand Hotel".
